Getting your website built may seem like a monumental undertaking. But creating a site is only the beginning! The real challenge comes with maintenance. Corrections and new information need to be posted constantly…or you'll have a “dead” site, not a web site. Search engines decide which sites are worthy of attention by how recently they've been updated. Maintenance matters.

Traditional "static" websites — such as the one you're viewing right now — are built in html code, requiring a knoweldge of technical code and access to ftp software to maintain. Dakota Street Design can maintain your site according to your instructions on an hourly basis, billed at the end of each month, or for a flat monthly fee based upon a reasonable estimate of the work required.

If you can express what needs to be done clearly in an email, we can take care of promptly posting your updates and making sure they are formatted correctly.

If you'd rather manage updates yourself, you may prefer working with a content managed website.
